The General Nursing and Midwifery Programme
The basic diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery is designed for the health needs of individuals, families, the community and the country at large. The diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery program prepares nurses with a sound educational foundation in nursing, enabling them to perform as members of the health team efficiently, beginning with the competencies for first-level positions in various healthcare settings.
There is no age bar for ANM/LHV

Admission Terms and Conditions
Minimum education required is 10+2 with English. They must have a minimum of 40% at the qualifying exam and English individually from any recognized board. Candidates from State Open School are eligible if recognized by the State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by the Central Government. However, Science is preferable.
10+2 with English having 40% of marks in a vocational ANM course from a school recognized by the Indian Nursing Council.
10+2 with English having 40% of marks in vocational Stream-Healthcare Science from a recognized CBSE board/State/Centre.
Registered ANM with a pass mark.
5% of total marks is relaxed for SC/ST candidates.
Any other reservation as per the State Govt. Note: The reservation shall be applicable within the sanctioned number of the seats by INC not above it.
Students shall be medically fit. Minimum age for admission will be 17 years. The upper age limit is 35 years. Admission of students shall be once in a year.
